And so it's Easter Sunday... Easter is a holiday that I never have really understood. I mean I understand the religious reasons the holiday exists but I have never understood the whole Easter bunny and coloured eggs phenomenon... doesn't make any sense to me at all.
Regardless of whether the holiday makes sense to me or not I always love this weekend. Dying eggs, decorating the house in pastels, hiding eggs for kids to find and of course that brand new Easter outfit covered in bright colours and waiting for you to put on on Easter morning. Here's a little gift that I would love to give to the gardeners in my life. I found this on Red Envelope and I thought they were adorable!
Crack open these ceramic eggs to reveal organic soil and ready-to-sprout seeds for wild strawberry, mint and petunia—a fitting surprise to discover inside the symbol of life. After they set down roots, the trio can be replanted outdoors, biodegradable shell and all.
