So about a week ago I sent out countless emails to vendors that span the whole of the wedding industry in Ottawa asking them to fill out a questionnaire and provide some photo's that I could post on my blog to help out the Ottawa bride.
I have started receiving some of the questionnaires back from vendors so I will start to post them today and will continue to do so as they trickle in. If you have any specific questions that you would like me to ask these vendors let me know!
Here are the questions that I sent to the vendors and my own answers to those questions for In Any Events

Company Name:In Any Events
Person Responding and Title: Liane Reeves- Principal Planner
1. What services does your company provide? We are a full service event planning company. We can help with events of 300+ people to an intimate dinner party of 8 helping you plan every detail of the day or simply coordinating during the event so that you can be a guest at your own party.
2. What is your company philosophy?
Our philosophy is your celebration should not just be about a date or an event but also about you and the life you lead including your sense of style, friends, family and the values you hold dear.
3. How long has your company been operating?
We are quite new to the Ottawa area but I have been planning events in the UK for the last four years.
4. What are some of your most memorable events that you have worked on and why?
Every event that we help plan is memorable for one moment or another. I have always loved watching a bride and groom look at each other just after walking back down the aisle because you can see the thought "Wow we're married" in their eyes. I have always loved watching the emotions cross someones face as they receive a heartfelt toast at a dinner party or an anniversary party. I have always loved watching a mommy-to-be looking at the onesies and bibs with a sense of anticipation at a baby shower. These moments never get old.
5. What questions do you believe all prospective clients should be asking?
When looking for an event planner I believe you need to be asking questions about their sense of style, how they interact with you on the day of your event, and how they interact with your vendors to make sure that they will truly represent you on your day. You should also be looking for a genuine sense of excitement from them, there is nothing worse than an event planner who is no longer excited by the events in their clients life.
6. Is there anything you would like prospective clients to know about your company?
I would like them to know that although we are a young company we have a solid background in event planning and a real thirst for the "realness" of your celebrations. We truly want your day to be your day not just what people think it should be and we will work tirelessly to make sure that is realized.
