Speaking of the Wedding Palace Bridal Show...

Most of you who stopped by the booth will remember that we had a draw for a complimentary "Day of" coordination and I am sure you are wondering who won this fabulous prize.

Well congratulations to Kate and Bob! I met with them yesterday for the very first time and I have to say I am very sure that I will love working with this couple. They are very creative, genuine and laid back a perfect combination!

Their wedding is in September 2010 and if it looks anything like what Kate and Bob were describing it is going to a very cool wedding I can't wait!

We also were handing out cards for 15% discount for wedding show attendees and due to the success of this I have decided to hold it over for an extra week. So get your requests for consultations in befre Sunday January 25th and we will honour that discount!

Wedding Palace Bridal Show

I would like to say a very big hello to all of the brides that I had the chance to meet at the Wedding Palace Bridal Show at the Westin on January 3rd and 4th. I had a blast talking to everyone and seeing what Ottawa's best wedding vendors had to offer. In the coming days I wil be posting my most favourite booths but I thought maybe I should post my own first!

So our concept was to show you what a huge statement you can make without spending tons of money. We sourced all of our items on our table from places such as the dollar store, ikea, ebay and the bay to keep costs down. We used flowers sparingly but dramatically so that we could make a huge impact with only a few blooms. And we printed all of our menus and place cards on a home printer and used dark linens to provide a dramatic base to all of our place settings.

I want to thank the two vendors that helped us put our look together, Bel Fiore  located on Elgin provided the very lovely and striking flowers. Teena was a dream to work with. She took my ideas and ran with them with creative solutions and a sense of style. And Details Ottawa provided our stunning black on black linen. I absolutely loved the black lace on top of the black linen a very classic but trendy at the same time addition to the table. 

  

            

  

        

    

We Are Live!

 Welcome to the In Any Events blog!

I am so excited it's ridiculous! This blog is the first step for the opening of In Any Events a company I have been planning and building for nearly four years.

Our official debut will be at the Wedding Palace Bridal Show at the Westin Ottawa January 3rd and 4th.  So please come out and introduce yourselves. We will have a draw for a complimentary day of coordination so please make sure you stop by to put your name in the draw and have a chat, I can't wait to meet all of the brides of Ottawa!

I will be posting throughout the holiday season some things that we are loving in the events world but if you have any comments or questions please feel free to leave them for us, we love feedback!
